- Commencing in August 2025 in a 6 month role
- Accredited role for candidates who have completed FRACP exam.

Essential Requirements:

Medical Qualifications registerable by the Medical Board of Victoria
Participating in Royal Australasian College of Physicians physician-training program.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines

1. Provides high quality patient care using an evidence based, cost effective approach	Attendance to inpatients of the medical oncology unit and patients referred by other units. Attendance at selected Specialist Clinics and clinics in Day Therapy Attendance to unwell patients in Day Therapy Participates in after-hour and weekend cover roster for medical oncology Completes all patient related documentation according to the Centre’s needs Liaises and communicates with the multidisciplinary treating team Contributes to team meetings and educational activities Actively and regularly participates in peer review patient related activities Participates in departmental research projects and audits Responds to on call commitments within an appropriate timeframe Works effectively with all internal and external stakeholders Close liaison with specialist members of the medical oncology Unit Follows hospital policies and procedures
2. Clinical Research Protocol Development	Enters and manages patients on clinical trials Participates in clinical trial management (if appropriate)
3. Trains residents, medical students and participates in other educational activities	Participates in internal and external educational programs.
4. Take part in all activities that contribute to ongoing professional and personal development	Attend approved training courses in preparation college accreditation Attend weekly academic meetings as appropriate Maintain satisfactory clinical & academic performance, reviewed every six months
