YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE

The position is for a Registrar who will be a key member of the Haematology team working across both Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital. Their role is to provide high quality patient treatment and care, and contribute to education and clinical research. They will manage Haematology patients receiving various forms of treatment including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted agents and supportive care. They are expected to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, maintain professional and respectful relationships with all staff and patients, and participate in after-hours cover. The applicant is also required to be registered with AHPRA and preferably have passed the RACP part 1 exam.

Selection Criteria

Essential Requirements	Medical Qualifications registrable by the Medical Board of Victoria Registrars are expected to have completed the RACP first part examination successfully. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with medical staff and other disciplines
Desirable Requirements	Participating in Royal Australasian College of Physicians advanced physician-training program in haematology. Participating in Royal Australasian College of Pathologists advanced-training program in haematology [if applicable] (JSAC).
