About You:
The successful applicant will bring:
• A strong background in acute care nursing
• Clinical skills, including:
• Comprehensive patient assessment
• Management of the deteriorating patient
• CVAD (Central Venous Access Device) care
• Cannulation
• Wound care
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
Remuneration as per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028. RN Grade 2 Year 1 (YP2): $81.733.60 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) - RN Grade 2 Year 8 (YP9): $103,152.40 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) dependent on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.

Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Peter Mac you are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients.
The Registered Nurse is a key member of the health care team responsible for ensuring nursing professional, organization, legal and ethical standards are met. The Registered Nurse communicates within the multidisciplinary teams, and is responsible for supervising and delegating to other health care professionals such as Enrolled Nurses and Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON).
