Fixed Term, Full Time Position
Moorabbin Radiation Oncology Service:
An opportunity exists for experienced Registered Nurse to join Moorabbin Radiotherapy on a Fixed Term Full Time position until 22nd February 2026. Fixed term part time positions also considered.
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced radiotherapy nursing skills, outstanding communication and teamwork skills and a dedication to providing excellence in patient centred care.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with:
- Preferred experience in Radiotherapy Nursing
- Preferably applicants will have recent oncology experience
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to improvement and quality initiatives to benefit patient care
- Sound patient assessment skills with demonstrated critical thinking and initiative

Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse at Peter Mac you are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients.
The Registered Nurse is a key member of the health care team responsible for ensuring nursing professional, organization, legal and ethical standards are met. The Registered Nurse communicates within the multidisciplinary teams, and is responsible for supervising and delegating to other health care professionals such as Enrolled Nurses and Registered Undergraduate Students of Nursing (RUSON).
