YOUR ROLE IN THE FUTURE
Radiation Engineer Grade 1
Fixed Term, Full-Time (80 hours per fortnight)
An exciting career opportunity is available for a Trainee Electronics Engineer to join a highly skilled Radiation Engineering team at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. This role provides technical support for state-of-the-art Radiotherapy equipment, including Linear Accelerators and CT Scanners, primarily based at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) in Melbourne, with support across additional sites in Moorabbin, Box Hill, Bendigo, and Sunshine.
The successful applicant will participate in a rotating roster, which includes some shift and weekend work. This position offers extensive hands-on training and mentoring within an experienced and supportive Radiation Engineering team.
Key Requirements
• Diploma or higher qualification in Electronic Engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical technical skills
• Experience with programming and 3D printing is desirable
• A current Victorian Driver’s Licence is essential

You will be a self-motivated, adaptable individual who enjoys working collaboratively within a small team and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Remuneration as per Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026. RADIATIONEGNR-PMCC Grade 1 (RT12): $83,163.60 - (RT13): $86,928.40 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) dependent on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
