- 3.5 days a week - 53.2 hours a fortnight

An exciting opportunity is available for the position of Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist within the Psychooncology Department at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
We are looking for a highly motivated psychologist to work in our team of clinical psychologists, delivering evidence-based psychological interventions to people with cancer in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment within an oncology hospital of excellence.
Responsibilities include triage and assessment work, formulation-based treatment and delivery of therapies, liaison with multidisciplinary teams as well as regular project work, opportunities to contribute to research intitatives, and faciliation of group work. You will recieve an orientation to the service and broader hospital as well as regular support and access to resources and educational opportunities.
The position reports to the team Manager and receives regular clinical supervision from a senior clinical psychologist on the team

Position Summary
- An APAC approved postgraduate qualification to Masters or Doctorate level in Clinical Psychology
- Full registration with the Psychologists Board of Australia
- Endorsement / or working towards endorsement in Clinical Psychology area of practice
- Clinical experience in working in a hospital setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
