Psychologist Grade 2

Fixed term, Part Time Role. 
 

We are seeking a skilled Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist to join our team of clinical psychologists working in the field of psychooncology. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate clinician who values high-quality clinical work to work in a supportive team environment and make a positive impact in cancer care.

 

Tasks include duty work such as triage and assessment, provision of evidence based psychological therapies, attending regular departmental meetings,and an opportunity to develop interest areas in a hospital setting.

This role is a 1 day a week (15.2 hrs / fortnight) fixed term position until 30th June 2026. 

 

In line with the Enterprise Agreement Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025  Salary range between pro rata $21,370.97-$24,455.05 based on years of experience

You will receive a thorough orientation to the service and broader hospital as well as regular clinical supervision and ongoing education opportunities.   

The position reports to the Head of Psychology and clinical oversight is provided by senior psychologists on the team.

Education and Research
  • Assists Senior Psychologists with the postgraduate provisional psychologist program
  • Gives educational presentations as appropriate
  • Participates in and contributes to quality improvement projects of the service
  • Involvement in Departmental research activity as appropriate
