Qualifications and experience

• Tertiary qualification in healthcare, project administration, or related field
• More than three years’ experience in a healthcare setting

Technical skills and knowledge

• Experience in health care, government or not-for-profit sector
• Experience in delivery of education initiatives to health professionals and consumers in person and virtually
• Experience with education content development and evaluation
• Proficiency in information technology, including online e-learning platforms, Microsoft Office suite, Mailchimp, website management and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Communication and people skills

• Tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in education, communications or related field

• Experience in learning management platforms

• Support Project Managers to coordinate and deliver ACSC projects and programs using project management methodologies and tools, including project planning, briefing, risk management, timeline tracking, evaluation and communication plans.
• Build project management capability through guidance and mentoring from ACSC Project Managers and the ACSC Manager
• Act as secretariat for ACSC projects and team activities, including preparing agendas, coordinating meetings and recording minutes
• Support projects involving students and/or volunteers where required
• Maintain project documentation and governance processes, ensuring records are accurate, compliant and accessible to team members
• Provide program and office coordination support, including triaging enquiries, managing the ACSC inbox, ordering resources and supplies, and supporting day-to-day operations
• Coordinate diaries, meetings and teleconferences, including room bookings and preparation of meeting materials
• Apply sound analytical, problem-solving, confidentiality and privacy practices in all aspects of work
• Undertake other duties as directed by the ACSC Manager

• With support from Project Manager, Engagement, provide survivorship information and resources to patients
• Utilising the electronic medical record (EPIC), generate reports to identify patients eligible for ACSC survivorship resources, and, in accordance with ACSC patient contact protocols and guidelines, introduce and offer these resources via phone and/or email.
• As appropriate, provide ACSC survivorship resources via email, Peter Mac patient Health Hub or post
• Draw on guidance and support from the Project Manager, Engagement to build capability

Key performance indicators

• EPIC reports generated accurately and on agreed schedule (e.g. monthly), correctly identifying patients meeting eligibility criteria for electronic survivorship information
• Patient contact conducted in line with ACSC protocols and guidelines, with eligible patients contacted within a set timeframe
• Contact attempts, outcomes and patient responses accurately recorded in the relevant system
• Survivorship resources sent via the appropriate channel (email, Health Hub or post) within an agreed turnaround of patient consent/request (e.g. within 2 business days)
• Correct resources matched to patient needs/eligibility, with errors or misdirected information kept to a minimum
• Demonstrated growth in independent delivery of engagement tasks over time, with reducing need for direct oversight
• Feedback from Project Manager, Engagement confirms tasks are being performed to the required standard within agreed timeframes

• Lead and deliver survivorship education and events
• Undertake two-day Cancer Wellness Program facilitator training at Cancer Council Victoria
• Facilitate and support delivery of adult education activities for cancer survivors
• Facilitate and support delivery of adult education activities for health professionals
• Collaborate with stakeholders in joint education initiatives, e.g. webinars and forums
  Coordinate booking of events, venues, catering and provide support at events, include wider ACSC team as relevant
• Liaise with speakers and attendees, monitor registrations, conduct technical checks for webinars and in person events
• Assist in communication and promotion of events, via Mailchimp and social media platforms
• Assist in development of event documents: agendas, running sheets and evaluation forms
• Provide reports for ACSC events based on evaluation data

Key performance indicators

• Two-day Cancer Wellness Program facilitator training completed, and accreditation/competency confirmed within 4 months of commencing the role
• Deliver two Cancer Wellness events per year
• Support 2-3 Survivorship Community of Practice events and 1-2 collaborative webinars per year
• Participant feedback/evaluation collected for each event, with satisfaction results meeting an agreed benchmark
  Promotional communications distributed within agreed timeframes ahead of each event (e.g. save-the-date and reminder communications sent per event schedule)
• Agendas, running sheets and evaluation forms prepared and available ahead of each event, with evaluation data compiled and reported to the team post-event

• Manage and maintain ACSC digital platforms and communications, including website content, social media channels, Mailchimp communications, and the publication of resources, events, and educational materials.
• Ensure the quality, accessibility, accuracy, and performance of ACSC digital content, including stakeholder consultation, compliance with organisational standards, website monitoring, analytics reporting, and coordination of technical updates where required.
