YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Casual Role
We are looking for Grade 2 Physiotherapists to join our Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Exercise Physiology Department at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. This is a casual role working across oncology and haematology, providing high-quality patient care in our weekend and public holiday service.
Your new role would involve:
Delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to patients with a variety of oncology-related conditions. A broad base of cardiorespiratory, neurological and orthopaedic skills is a great advantage in providing excellent care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic, patient-centred care.
About you:
- Registered Physiotherapist with AHPRA.
- Relevant clinical experience in acute oncology and haematology.
- Post-surgical experience an advantage.
- Consolidated cardiorespiratory, neurological and orthopaedic skills an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and proactively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proven track record in clinical service delivery and achieving a range of outcomes effectively.
- Experience in lymphoedema management is an added advantage.

Position Summary
Provide acute inpatient and outpatient management and treatment for Peter Mac patients (Melbourne campus and satellites)
Play an assistive role in the clinical leadership of the physiotherapy department and provide an excellent standard of patient care within the specialist area of oncological physiotherapy, including the palliative care unit as appropriate
Assist with facilitating and implementing the departmental priorities of professional development, research and quality activities and to ensure that these consistently inform clinical activity
