Payroll Analyst - Rostering Project

 

  • Fixed Term, Full Time role (till 30 June 2026)
  • Parkville location, with flexible, hybrid working
  • Salary range: $110,00 - $130,000

 

About the role

The successful candidate will provide Payroll analyst services for the implementation of the UKG Rostering system, primarily focused on the SAP Payroll system and integration with UKG. They will be required to participate and support the planning, preparation and execution of System Integration Testing and Payroll Parallel runs.

 

About you

You will be someone with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a high performance team whilst being trustworthy with an understanding of confidentiality of all employee data.

The ideal candidate will meet the following essential requirements:

  • Demonstrated SAP Payroll Processing experience (2+ years) including functional knowledge of the SAP system.
  • Advanced reporting and analytical skills with problem solving capabilities.
  • Experience with implementing or has a detailed understanding of Enterprise Agreements and Awards into SuccessFactors and SAP Employee Central Payroll.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables and analysis of data.
  • Experience in a high volume payroll environment.
  • Understands and demonstrates payroll functions and the need for timely and accurate processing with a high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Previous experience in the Health Sector, preferably Hospitals.

1. Project Execution
  • Participate and support the planning, preparation and execution of System Integration Testing and Payroll Parallel runs.
  • Undertake payroll analysis of testing outcomes, investigate variances and prepare detailed reports.
  • Undertake analysis on SAP Payroll system where required.
  • Provide assistance with UKG to SAP Payroll integration.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture Team, Project Team and Vendor to ensure accurate capture of the requirements for Enterprise Agreements and Awards.
  • Closely collaborate with the Employee Relations team to ensure criteria related to employee compensations and benefits within the Enterprise Agreements and Awards are met during the Rostering testing phases.
  • Provide training and support during the Rostering implementation to the Payroll team to ensure effective use of the payroll system and adhere to quality assurance processes and procedures.
2. Payroll
  • Work closely with the Payroll team during testing and implementation of the Rostering system.
