Clinical Nurse Consultant - Palliative Care

  • 12-months fixed term, part-time role
  • 3 days per week or 45.6 hours per fortnight 
  • ZJ4 classification

 

We are seeking a highly motivated nurse to join the Palliative Care team as a clinical nurse consultant.

 

The nurse will be an experienced practitioner (experience in palliative care delivery in inpatient/consult or community settings preferred - although expertise in closely related specialities such as oncology will also be considered) who uses and facilitates evidence-based practice to provide optimal patient care and support to families.

The successful applicant will predominantly be responsible for supporting patients and their family members together wtih the wider multidisciplinary palliative care team - as part of our hospital-based consultation service. The ability to work with all members of the team as well as allied health and community services is essential.
