YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
A fixed term, fractional position is available for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to backfill parental leave. The position is available for 6 months from January 2026.

Position Summary
To provide high quality radiology services to the Cancer Imaging Department and to the patients and referring clinicians of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. To promote and participate in research activity regarding oncologic imaging. If appropriately skilled, to lead, develop and oversee a world class designated modality specialising in oncological applications, safety, study acquisition and protocols. To participate in the on-call service when required.

Essential Requirements
Current specialist registration with AHPRA
Post graduate qualification in Diagnostic Radiology – FRANZCR or equivalent as recognised by RANZCR
Current experience in clinical radiology particularly cross-sectional imaging
Satisfactory participation in the RANZCR CME program
Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with medical, paramedical, and clerical staff
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, referring practitioners and other members of the community
Eligible for unrestricted Medicare provider number for the Peter Mac site
Desirable Requirements
Advanced skills in CT or MRI
Subspecialty Radiology experience, expertise and/or training as departmental needsrequire.
Interest and experience in education and research
