YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
The Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service is a well-established palliative care service, dedicated to providing high-quality clinical care furthering innovation in palliative care research, training and education. The service operates as a single department across the Parkville Precinct, including at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Women’s Hospital. Undergraduate and postgraduate education is provided for all health disciplines and through programmes at the University of Melbourne. The department has a well-developed Research and Quality Assurance program and participates in PCOC and PaCCSC/CST. Our clinical activities include inpatient palliative care, consultation palliative care, outpatient clinics, community outreach and the Victorian Palliative Care Advice Service.
This position consists of a fixed term (locum) Senior Medical Staff position (7hours per fortnight) May 2026 – November 2026
Applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
• Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Palliative Medicine, and/or Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine (FAChPM).
• Recognised by the AHPRA as a specialist in Palliative Care Medicine
• Significant clinical experience in Palliative Care
