Radiation Oncologist – Fixed-Term Backfill Opportunity
Join a collaborative and high-performing Radiation Oncology team
We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for fixed-term backfill position, providing an exciting opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary cancer service delivering contemporary, patient-centred care across a diverse range of tumour streams.
Position: Neuro-Oncology
This role will have primary responsibility for:
- Neuro-oncology
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, participate in tumour stream meetings, and contribute to clinical service delivery, education, and quality improvement activities.
The appointment will initially be 0.6 EFT, based at Parkville, from 28 October 2026 to 15 January 2027. Following this period, the position will increase to 0.8 EFT from 18 January 2027 and end on the 11 February 2027, predominantly based at Parkville, with regular attendance at our Sunshine Campus on a weekly basis.

- Hold (or be eligible for) specialist registration as a Radiation Oncologist
