Medical Administration - Cancer Imaging

Ongoing, Full-Time Role (with Part-Time considered)


 

The Department of Cancer Imaging at Peter Mac is seeking a full-time permanent (or part time can be considered) Medical Administration staff to join our team. We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated medical administrator to join our team in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Warmly greet and check in patients upon arrival
•    Manage enquiries in person, over the phone, via email, and fax
•    Assist with booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
•    Support the distribution of reports and respond to billing enquiries
•    Perform general administrative and ad hoc duties as required by Manager

 

Skills and Experience Required 
•    Strong customer service with a focus on patient centered care 
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
•    Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
•    The ability to multi-task and work cohesively in a team environment
•    Previous administration experience in a Radiology practice and with our information system carestream and Karisma would advantageous.

Remuneration as per Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025. HS Grade 1 Year 1 (HS1) $58,442.80 per annum (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for part-time) to HS Grade 1 Year 5 (HS17) $64,610.00 per annum (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for part-time) dependent on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
