Finance Systems Administrator
• Ongoing, Full-Time Role – 80 Hours per Fortnight with a Monthly ADO
• CBD location, with flexible, hybrid working
• $70K - $80K base + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the Team
The Chief Financial Officer division at Peter Mac includes financial accounts, FP&A, procurement, finance systems, project management and infrastructure and capital. We take pride in leading the financial operations that support our hospital's mission of enabling innovative cancer research and transforming lives.
About the Role
The Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for providing effective financial systems support and advice to the Financial Accounting team and Procurement divisions on finance systems and controls. This position reports to the Finance Systems Manager and plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of PMC's finance systems daily procedures.
About You
You will be an experienced Business Administration professional with a Finance background and with proven ability to build rapport and strong, professional relationships with a range of stakeholders to support the wider organisation.
You'll bring with you:
• Strong computer literacy with advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven aptitude for solving technical problems and a track record of effective issue resolution in similar roles.
• Experience in data manipulation and statistical analysis of large, complex datasets.
• High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of groups.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail oriented.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving business and IT needs.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Shows initiative in identifying and implementing improvements to work processes.
• Ability to analyse and solve problems when interpreting data.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued improvements and change

Desirable Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role

| 1. System Support & Maintenance | • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to finance system procedures. • Responsible for the daily end-to-end management of the Finance Systems eg user setups, cost centre additions and amendments, DOA update and PBRC daily worklist reviews. • Log and manage system issues through to resolution. • Coordinate and participate in system upgrades and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Assist in the implementation of system enhancements to improve workflows and reduce manual intervention. |

Data Management & Reporting | • Develop and maintain key worklists, ensuring they are completed within established KPIs. • Assist the Finance Systems Accountant with data analysis and the investigation of unresolved transactions, worklist items, and other system validation tasks. • Create and distribute reports for stakeholders as required. • Conduct statistical analysis of data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities. |
