- PAIN MEDICINE FELLOW- Cancer, Acute and Chronic Pain
1 Full time position – Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Melbourne, 1 Full time position - Peter MacCallum Centre + Royal Melbourne Hospital - Fixed term - 6 or 12 month appointment
- 43 Hours Per Week - plus associated Weekend Rounds
As Australia’s leading Cancer Centre, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre provides high quality treatment and support to cancer patients, their families and carers. Peter Mac is an internationally renowned organisation with its main campus in Melbourne.
A vacancy exists for a 6 or 12 month post as a Pain Medicine Fellow commencing on 2nd February, 2026. Duties will include managing acute, chronic and cancer pain with close liaison between medical and surgical cancer services.
Fellows will work at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Melbourne site and Royal Melbourne Hospital. They will gain experience in acute and chronic cancer pain, acting within a multidisciplinary pain team.
The Peter MacCallum Cancer training position is a satellite site with the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is a Tier 1 training site with the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
There are opportunities for collaboration and rotations to occur.
