Ongoing Part Time Role
Join Peter Mac as a Grade 2 Exercise Physiologist The position is part-time,ongoing (45.6 hours per fortnight), directly reporting to the Manager for Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology and Podiatry.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based exercise programs to oncology patients across all stages of treatment and recovery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise plans.
- Support patient education and promote the benefits of exercise in cancer care.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver high-quality care in oncological exercise physiology.
- Support professional development, research, and quality initiatives to ensure evidence-based practice.
What we’re looking for:
- Accredited Exercise Physiologist with ESSA registration.
- Experience in oncology or chronic disease management (preferred).
- Experience in a hospital (preferred).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for delivering patient-centred care.

Position Summary
- To provide acute inpatient and outpatient exercise physiology management and treatment for Peter Mac patients
- Provide an excellent standard of patient care within the specialist area of oncological exercise physiology
- To assist with facilitating and implementing the departmental priorities of professional development, research and quality activities and to ensure that these consistently inform evidence based clinical activity
