Ongoing, Part-Time Role- 64 Hours per Fortnight

About the Day Therapy Unit

Our Day Therapy Unit provides Chemotherapy, Medical, Clinical Trials, and Transfusion services. Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients and coordinating care between the waiting room, treatment areas, and clinic rooms.

• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.

• Adapting to a dynamic environment while maintaining excellent communication and organisational skills.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing or Certificate IV in Nursing with medication endorsement (five routes)

• Recent or current experience in acute nursing

• Willingness to work towards cannulation and central venous access device competencies

• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and work effectively as part of a well-developed team

• Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently

• Outstanding communication skills and a patient-centred approach

Remuneration as per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028. EN Level 2 (Cert IV) Year 1 (IB66) $69,206.80 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) - EN Level 2 (Diploma) Year 5 (IB72) $76,934.00 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for Part Time) dependent on candidate experience. Position Summary

The Enrolled Nurse Level 2 works under the direct or indirect supervision of the registered nurse (RN) and will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in his/her specific area. The Enrolled Nurse Level 2 will be responsible for ensuring his/her own professional development in order to maintain clinical skills and knowledge and for supporting and assisting his/her colleagues.


The EN works with the RN as part of the health care team and demonstrates competence in the provision of person-centred care. At all times, the EN retains responsibility for his/her actions and remains accountable in providing delegated nursing care.

  • Previous experience in an oncology
