About the Foundation
The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation is the fundraising arm of Peter Mac. The Foundation accelerates life-saving cancer research by providing critical funding for innovative projects, enabling researchers to discover new ways to prevent, detect and treat cancer. Donor support empowers our people to translate breakthroughs from the lab into real-world treatments that improve outcomes for patients and their families.
About the role
As the Digital Individual Giving Coordinator you will assist the Foundation in acquiring one-off and monthly donors, and maximising retention rates and income from existing donors, through digital activities such as social media engagement, email, SEO and SEM. You’ll also play a key role in delivering the Foundation’s marketing and social media strategies.
Key responsibilities will see you coordinate all digital activities required to maximise fundraising results within the individual giving portfolio, such as planning, implementing and optimising:
• Digital advertising campaigns
• Automated communications
• Web content

About you
You will be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
You’ll bring with you:
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a digital fundraising role, or in a direct marketing role with a digital component
• Strong data analytical and reporting skills
• Digital marketing skills, including writing and uploading email and web copy
• Experience using marketing automation platforms ad integrating multiple online platforms
• Experience in building, monitoring and optimising digital campaigns, including purchasing media and tracking sales funnels
• Knowledge of SEO and SEM

Position Summary
The Digital Coordinator will assist the Foundation in acquiring one-off and monthly donors, and maximisingretention rates and income from existing donors, through digital activities such as social media engagementand advertising, email, SEO and SEM.
The Digital Coordinator will play a key role in delivering the Foundation’s Digital Direct Marketing strategy byinspiring donors to give to vital cancer research via online channels of communication.
The role is responsible for coordinating all digital activities required to maximise fundraising results withinthe individual giving portfolio, such as planning, implementing and optimising:
- digital advertising campaigns
- automated communications
- web content
The role encompasses campaign planning, content development (text, images, video), technical implementation, monitoring and reporting.
This role also plays a role in delivering the Foundation’s social media strategies, including social mediamonitoring requirements.
