Change and Communications Officer - CRM
- Short fixed term, part time opportunity
- 0.3 - 0.4 EFT or (1.5 to 2-days per week)
- Grade 3: HS3 - HS25 ($37.68 to $41.65 per hour depending on experience)
Change and Communications Officer required as part of the Salesforce Expansion project. This is a 4 month fixed term, part-time role (0.3-0.4 FTE at pay scale level HS3).
The position will report direct to the project manager and is required to be an active member of the Salesforce Project Working group. The Change and Communications Officer will lead the change management and communications aspect of the project, ensuring readiness and change adoption into business operations at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
About you
The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build relationships at all levels, whilst also being able to rapidly understand end-to-end business.
You'll bring with you:
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools, ideally within medium-scale digital transformation or system implementation projects.
- Experience supporting organisational change related to enterprise platforms, ideally CRM or contract management systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing clear, targeted project communications.
- Experience supporting successful system transition, adoption, and stakeholder enablement.
- Ability to clearly articulate key messages to a range of audiences across diverse business functions.
- Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate competing priorities.
- Ability to influence others and support alignment toward a common vision or objective.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause identification skills.
- Understanding of data governance principles, particularly as they relate to contract management, organisational data handling, and privacy requirements.

Position Summary
The Commercialisation team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the team as a CRM Contracts Implementation Change and Communications Officer, to facilitate seamless adoption of the current Salesforce CRM expansion to an organisation-wide contracts and execution repository. This is a key project role for a period of 4 months at 0.3-0.4 FTE within the Salesforce Administration team. The Change and Communications Officer will lead the change management and communications aspects of the project, ensuring readiness and change adoption into business operations at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
Working closely with the Salesforce Project Manager, the Officer will support organisational readiness and transition to an enterprise-wide centralised contracts repository and contracts submission portal. This includes leading change impact and readiness assessments to identify and mitigate potential challenges for staff, functional areas, and business processes, ensuring seamless implementation and adoption across the organisation.
The role will be responsible for developing and executing the communication strategy for the project and be an active team member of the project working group. The role is expected to contribute to timely delivery of the project by carrying out assigned tasks as well as contribute own skills as subject matter expert. The Officer will also coordinate and support user acceptance testing, including defining testing needs, collating feedback, documenting issues, and supporting remediation activities.
The role will contribute to the design and development of the SharePoint Connect landing page where the contracts submission portal will be housed, including supporting the creation of FAQs, instructional content, and training video. The role requires high-level stakeholder engagement, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate project objectives into meaningful change management and communication strategies that support standardised contract management practices across the organisation.
