Business Analyst - Rostering Project

 

  • Fixed Term, Full Time role (till 30 June 2026)
  • Parkville location, with flexible, hybrid working
  • Salary range: $150,000 - $170,000 depending upon experience

 

About the role

The successful candidate will assume Business Analysis services across the Rostering program of work with a focus on the implementation of the UKG Rostering System. Within the role they will undertake stakeholder consultations, facilitate meetings and workshops to gather required business information for requirements definition and modelling of business operations.

 

About you

You will be someone with effective time management and organisational skills, whilst having a positive attitude and commitment to the organisation with demonstrated behaviours that reflect the organisation’s values.

The ideal candidate will meet the following essential requirements:

  • Experience in working as a Business Analyst on the implementation of UKG Pro Workforce Development projects.
  • Excellent understanding of Rostering principles. EBA and Awards, Payroll and People & Culture.
  • An understanding of IT infrastructure, networks and systems including all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles,  methodologies and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of Business Analysis artefacts using formal industry methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop “as is” and “to be” processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

1.Requirements
  • Undertake stakeholder consultations, facilitate meetings and workshops to gather required business information for requirements definition and modelling of business operations.
  • Document business requirements, business processes (“as is” and “to be”), business rules, data models, report design and data flows as necessary.
  • Input into and assist the project in developing project approaches, timelines and budgets as required.
2.Project Execution
  • Participate in and support planning, preparation and execution of quality assurance and verification activites such as user acceptance testing, data migration, integration, training and implementations.
  • Provide support to respective Leads in change, testing, data migration, system integration and training as needed.
  • Provide input on progress, issues and risks to the Project Manager.
  • Support change management strategies that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance.
  • Support the transition and hand-over of project outputs to BAU.
