Employment Status: Ongoing, Part Time Role
Hours: 64 hours per Fortnight (including weekends)

About the Team
Peter Mac @ Home (PM@H) is the acute home-based oncology service for Peter Mac patients/clients and is available 7 days per week, 365 days a year. The service incorporates Hospital in the Home (HITH) and Home-based cancer care as funded through the DHHS.
About the Role
The PM@H unit is currently seeking an experienced ANUM to join our team in a part time position. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional community-based care, supporting the professional development of self and others, and providing evidence-based nursing practice. We are looking for a clinician who is confident working both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, while supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), fellow ANUMs, and broader team.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Day-to-day staff coordination and management
• Liaising with key stakeholders, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams across Peter Mac
• Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) preparation coordination
• Referral management and processing
• Communication and coordination with patients, families and carers
• Portfolio and quality improvement work
• Supporting staff wellbeing and team culture
• Acting in the NUM role as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• A current and valid driver’s licence
• Minimum five years’ post-registration nursing experience
• Experience working within acute Hospital in the Home (HITH) settings
• Acute medical oncology and/or haematology nursing experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
Experience in surgical nursing and/or previous ANUM experience is highly desirable.

In the absence of the NUM to be responsible for the management of the unit through the coordination of nursing activities and related services for the provision of quality patient care in conjunction with other members of the management team.
To translate the objectives, policies and procedures of the organisation into effective action.
To ensure/apply best practice standards of Oncology community nursing practice.
