Allied Health Administration Assistant
Ongoing, Part Time Role
• 40 hours per fortnight
• Parkville location
• Salary between $58,442 to $64,606 (pro-rated for part time) depending on experience
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced administrator to join our Allied Health team, working predominantly with the Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Spiritual Care services.
This varied role is an integral part of supporting our clinicians, patients, students, and leaders, contributing to the smooth delivery of world-class cancer care.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality administrative support to allied health teams
• Assist patients with queries and service navigation
• Manage stock ordering, invoicing, and supplies
• Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes
• Support onboarding processes for staff and students
• Provide support, when required, to the Director and Deputy Director of Allied Health and Support Services
• Assist with cross-coverage of administration across other allied health services as required
The Successful Candidate Will Possess
• Prior administrative experience, ideally within healthcare or working with clinicians
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Familiarity with medical terminology (desirable, but not essential)
• Competence with IT applications including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Position Summary
The role completes routine functions required by an allocated disciplines, including one or two of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition, Speech Pathology, Spiritual Care, Social Work, Art Therapy and Music Therapy. To greet and assist patients/carers at reception and via phone.
To provide ad hoc reception, secretarial and administrative support to the Director of Allied Health (AH), Deputy Director of AH and AH Managers and their departments.
