YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Medical Administration Officer
Permanent, Part-Time Role - Parkville Campus.
- This important part time role works with our friendly healthcare team to help provide front desk and administration services for the Radiation Therapy department.
- Ability to work in a busy healthcare environment with excellent telephone manner and the ability to provide appointment related information to patients and their carers is an essential part of the role.
- Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Record and Mosaiq highly desirable, but not essential.
- Part-time Role, 2 days / Week.
- Daytime hours - no night work.
- Shifts range from: 7.30am – 4.00pm, 8.30am – 5.00pm or 9.30 – 6.00pm.
- Occasional Saturday or public holiday shifts may be required.
- 5 weeks annual leave pro rata per annum.

Position Summary
Administration/Clerical position undertaking general administration and clerical work to support Radiation Oncology Services at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre at Parkville including office duties, front desk and clinic support.

Essential Requirements | • Previous Medical Clerical experience • Previous Hospital Front Desk Experience • Excellent Memory for details • Ability to communicate with empathy and care. |
Desirable Requirements | • Previous experience using Mosaiq & iPM software and the EPIC electronic medical record highly regarded. • Competency in use of computers and software applications such as Windows • Competency in medical terminology • Commitment to excellent client service • Capable of working independently and in a team • Able to prioritise work and to work with minimum supervision and guidance • Responsible and adaptable • Demonstrated attention to detail, methodical, with well-developed verbal and written communication skills |
