For New Team Members

When you join a new organisation there can be a lot to learn. We make that as easy as possible for new team members.

If you have recently been appointed to a role at Peter Mac and want to find out more information about your conditions of employment and salary, please look at the relevant Enterprise Agreement (EA) below. The EA relevant to your position will be identified on your employment offer:

Did you know?

Our Enterprise Agreements outline entitlements that you might need to take steps to activate, including;

Transfer of Leave Entitlements

If you are joining Peter Mac from another Victorian Public Sector Health Service you may be able eligible to transfer accrued Personal and Long Service Leave entitlements.

You will need to provide Peter Mac a Certificate of Service from your previous Victorian Public Health Employer detailing your employment and leave accruals. Your Agreement will detail any allowable period of absence between Employers.

Accessing specific allowances, such as:

  • Recognition of applicable higher qualifications.
    • Search qualification in your EA to determine eligibility, if applicable provide copy of your qualification to People and Culture.
  • Recognition of service increments within your classification.
    • Check this is listed on your Certificate of Service and advise People and Culture of your possible entitlement.
  • Other allowances payable may include shift work, meals or change of roster. Again, please search allowances to determine eligibility.

If applicable your manager should include them on your time sheet. If you think you are eligible for an allowance and have discussed it with your manager, please contact People and Culture.
